Travelling by air, you’ll arrive in the Aeropuerto Internacional Juan Santamaría Airport, 17 km northwest of San José. By land, go from San José to Changuinola(Bocas del Toro), David and Panama City, Panama; Guatemala City; Managua, Nicaragua; San Salvador, El Salvador; and Tegucigalpa, Honduras. By sea, the ships dock at the Pacific port of Caldera (near Puntarenas) or the Caribbean port of Puerto Limón.
